As a fellow mastiff
breeder, I sold Myra her first mastiff back in the early 90’s.
Perhaps Prairie Buffalo started as a result of the affection
Clearview’s Chief Cochise gave this family.
We’ve had a
great relationship as I have watched her kennel grow. She
is a very conscious and responsible breeder with true ethics. I
recommended Myra in becoming a member of our Mastiff Club of
America. She has always been in high standing in the club.
Our business dealings continue to date. We share
ownership in an up coming Geronimo son, Tecumseh.

I love her Geronimo and had a litter this spring.
Another Geronimo son from that litter has captured my heart and
eye for the show ring, and that’s my little Rudy.
My overall experience with Prairie Buffalo
Mastiffs has been awesome! Whether using the stud service, or
buying a puppy, it’s been a very positive experience for me.

Dear Prairie Buffalo Mastiffs,
I would like to take a moment to let you know how much I deeply
appreciate your friendship. Since, we met many moons ago, at the
specialty, we've kept in very close contact. Although, we are
thousands of miles apart, that has never hindered or deterred
us. During our friendship we have bred outstanding dogs, enjoyed
dog shows, enjoyed each others families and had some interesting
debates on various topics. But not once have you attempted to
demean or belittle any other breeders. You have always been
polite and positive in our conversations and never bashed
anyone, to make your stock or yourself look better. I considered
this mindset admirable, and a true gem to find in this day and
age. You are a fine lady that posses impeccable etiquette and
elite qualities. This is a very desirable trait and is very
difficult to find in dog fanciers, at such a competitive level.
You and I have so much in common, such as similar degrees, and
similar attributes we look for in dogs, and not to mention our
good looks (smile). Your dogs show exceptional qualities, which
mean you have a keen eye for the standard. Your love for the
breed along with the careful placing of your puppies is
commendable. I had to let you know how much I cherish our
friendship. As you well know, true friends are hard to come by
these days. So I thought I would nurture what we have and
applaud you as a frienid and dog fancier. My wife, kids and
myself love you dearly and there is nothing that we wouldn't do
for you. We look forward to seeing you and the family this fall
for our little get together, and bringing you our little
grandbaby out of your son Geronimo and our daughter Cappuccino!

best! Nothing is spared to make sure these dogs are healthy, happy and
have fun filled lives. My is devoted to the breed and has only the

I had two wonderful friends pass
away within two months of each other. Knowing that I
just don't ever want to live without my mastiff, without this
gentle giant always waiting to welcome me with purest love
just inside the door, I called my friend, My, at Prairie
Buffalo to immediately begin again
with another puppy. So typical of
this wonderful woman, she said, I don't have puppies right
now, but I will drive you to another breeder I know well and
help you choose the right one.
Off we went, found my beloved
beautiful Vetter, now a lean 240 pounds, smart and loyal
beyond description.

Ch Prairie Buffalo Rising Star's litter
Working with Myra has been such a rewarding
experience! Her expertise, professionalism, and dedication to
the Mastiff breed (as well as their owners) were paramount to
the great success of our first litter with our beloved Mollie
and her Champion Geronimo. Myra was there to offer advice,
reassurance, and encouragement during every step of the process,
from breeding to raising a healthy, happy litter of puppies. No
question was too trivial, no time too inconvenient to graciously
take my calls. She was also instrumental in placing the puppies
with loving, well-qualified families. Our family certainly
couldn’t have been more pleased with the process or the outcome
– our fantastic puppy from the litter and a treasured friend in
Myra!
